umm moja, wall decoration, set of 4, base metal with gold plated, patinated & flocked, silk thread, 2009

by looking at my childhood pictures, i found my mom's hat were in many images and she still kept it. It was more than 35years old now and of course one of her favourite belongings.

these wall pieces were minimalised & conceptualised by base metal with gold plated, patinated & flocked and silk thread stitched to express its shape, colour & pattern.
